Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts?

Since my childhood, I loved to draw and paint but couldn’t pursue it due to some reasons. But that spark in me for art didn’t die and inspired me to embark on my own journey in the world of art.

Have you studied arts or obtained formal training in it?

I couldn’t acquire proper training earlier so I am doing that along with my artworks currently.

Describe your art style.

I prefer doing more figurative works. I like almost all mediums.

For how many years have you practiced your art, and have you had to overcome any hurdles on the way?

I am practicing art since childhood. Yes, there were many hurdles on the way which took a little while to overcome.

What memorable responses have you had to your work?

I would like to mention the response I got during a group exhibition at the Crafts museum when the authority sent an enquiry for the purchase of only a few paintings and mine was one of them.

What do you aim to achieve in the future?

In the future I want to travel n learn more n more forms of art there are, around the globe.

Is there any specific area you now wish to explore?

I want to try doing artwork on unusual bases, as suggested to me by Nirmala Singh ma’am.

What would you advise youngsters inclined towards the arts?

I believe that art is connected more to the heart and lesser to the brain. So I would suggest the youngsters that listen to your heart and follow your dreams.
