Vibes

Sanika walked towards the rector’s office. It was impossible for her to stay in that room anymore.

Since Sanika shifted to her hostel room, she had been getting negative vibes inside her room. Her weird roommate never spoke to her. There was no interaction between them.

“I have a problem with my roommate Ma’am. Can you change my room?”

“Trying to fool me? Room 11 is allotted to only one student, Sanika Sharma, that’s you!” rector said.

Sanika’s legs suddenly felt numb; chills went down her spine.

“With whom am I staying for last one month? Is the room haunted?”

Why Submissive?

“You can’t. You are a girl, not as strong as me,” my brother grinned.

“What does that have to do with strength?” I persisted, my determination shining through.

“It needs concentration,” he teased.

I was in no mood to give up. It took me a while, but I fixed the pressure cooker’s broken handle.

When we lost our parents in an accident, he tried to hold back his tears. I said, “You can’t. You may argue that you are a boy, and I am a girl who cries for everything, but they were our parents.”

He couldn’t hold any longer!
