Water in My lungs

It’s a struggle to stay afloat—to breathe.

But the waves don’t care,

They pull, they press, they whisper; sink.

Water in my lungs,

Water in my lungs,

Water in my lungs—

Each gasp a battle,

Each moment a war.

No room for air—only vast nothingness.

Where echoes of light dissolve into shadows, and time slows to a fragile hush.

Where forgotten dreams drift past, like ghostly ships in the dark.

It’s a struggle to stay afloat, as gravity hums its lullaby.

The surface world grows dim and far, as peace awaits in the depths below.

Water in my lungs,

Water in my lungs,

Water in my lungs.

Can I have some relief?

Drifting, sinking—weightless, free.

Maybe it’s okay now to let go.

No more battles—just the hush of the sea.
