The city: A poem by Dr. Monica Saxena

The city canvas where you flick fingers brain guided
Lines long and short, crisscross jumbled
Drawing of your deeds and what is deemed
Erase and raise, fill colours in abundant
The city canvas with corners crumbled
Folds with crease dark and dusky plated

The city dazzles my fondest patches
Flying fringes of festivity that touches
Vigorously adrenaline gushes from brushes
Subliminal wave glides over the roads
Soars to skyscrapers, to skyline launches
The shrine city is bestowed with the hopes

The city is insignia, an epicentre of an epic life
People pass on marking, embarking on the city.
