The labyrinth of life with its menacing mazes loomed large in her mind
Ready to devour her silent screams
She sighed, as she had always known
That one day they would surely stampede
Her cherished inner coherent world of sanity and dreams
For she had bloomed as a transwoman
Disrupting the balance of their ‘natural’ realm
Now as she was discovered
They had her back against the wall
And an exorcism would be performed upon her
To make her fit into their version of ‘normal’
Her choices would now be stifled
Her voice would now be muffled
Leaving her no chance to resurrect her true self!
