Miracles of Love: A Poem by Dr. Mallika Tripathi

There comes a time when love engulfs your spirit,
You listen a quiet murmur in the rustling leaves,
It swells in the silent endurance of a mother,
Her eyes knowing yet forgiving,
Bearing witness to your flaws without retreat,
Her love, a quiet rebellion against imperfection.

And when you gift your first earned coin to your parents,
Expecting nothing but met with glistening eyes,
Their smiles speaking of an unspoken journey fulfilled.

Love tightens its grip in the arms of your beloved,
Not merely in warmth but in silent vows,
A promise to hold you through tempests unknown,
To guard you when the world turns its back.

Yet, deeper still, is the day you cradle your firstborn,
A life so fragile, their tiny form nestled in your arms,
Eyes barely open yet filled with an unspoken connection.

In these fleeting, yet infinite instants,
Love flows not as a transient emotion,
But as a force, unyielding, cosmic, eternal,
That has existed long before you and will continue long after.
In these myriad moments love pours into your life,
An endless stream of blessings that overwhelm and humble you.
