ALS NaPoWriMo 2024

The month of April is celebrated all over as the Poetry Writing Month. At ALS, we hosted NaPoWriMo from 1st April to 30th April to provide a writing challenge to boost the creativity of our members. For the last thirty days, we have been in the poetic journey together – writing to the prompts, reading the poems of our fellow writers, learning about varied perspectives, and building a bond within the community. The community was, indeed, beaming with energy and enthusiasm!

It was an exhilarating experience to have about 100 people (number to be confirmed later) participate in the poetry writing to the prompt shared every morning. We got to read some excellent and captivating pieces from the pen of our talented community members. It was heartening to see the perspective of different writers for the same theme. The prompts were challenging at times, but it was great to see everyone participate with zeal. We hope you enjoyed the journey.

We, at ALS, tried our best to read as many poets as we could, and we appreciate the efforts of all the members who read the words of fellow writers.

Many congratulations to all those who completed the poetic marathon. As we complete the challenge, we would like to share that those who successfully complete ALS NaPoWriMo 2024 (30 poems in 30 days as per the prompts) would be felicitated with a certificate and a medal at the ALS Women’s Conclave 2024 to be held on 6th July in Delhi. Those unable to attend the event shall be sent their certificate and medal through courier after the ALS Women’s Conclave 2024.
