ALS at New Delhi World Book Fair 2025

Asian Literary Society organized literary sessions in the World Book Fair 2025, New Delhi
Asian Literary Society in association with National Book Trust, India (NBT) organized multiple literary sessions in the Festival of Festivals segment of the World Book Fair 2025, New Delhi (6th Feb 2025 to 9th Feb 2025).
ALS sessions on its first day included book Launches: “Into the Kaleidoscope of Verses: A Repertoire of Poems” by Rupali Mistry, “Samay Ke Darpan Mein” by  Dr. Minal, “Brown Gal in the Rain” by Indrani Chowdhury, and “Wo Rang Pyar Ke The” by Manoj Krishnan. It was followed by the Asian Literary Society’s Hindi Poetry Meet with poets Manoj Krishnan, Dr. Minal, Seema Srivastava, and  Shivpriya.
On the second day, a panel discussion (Theme: Depiction of Social Issues in Contemporary Young Adult Literature) was organized with Dr. Amarendra Khatua, Yuyutsu Sharma, Mandira Ghosh, and Manoj Krishnan. Vandana Bhasin moderated this panel discussion. ALS English Poetry Meet with Neeti Parti, Vandana Bhasin, Rajshree Rathore, Chumki Roy, and Dr. Bishakha Sarma was also organized on the same day.
The Third day of ALS at the World Book Fair 2025, New Delhi started with the Asian Literary Society’s Women Poetry Meet with poets Shivpriya, Anita Chand, Vandana Bhasin, Kiren Babal,  Dr. Shehla Ahmad, and PD Jonakii. It was followed by the book launches: “The Gift of Self” by Vandana Bhasin, “Navras” by Manoj Krishnan & Anita Chand, “Kuch Aise” by Tanuja Thakur, and “Frontiers of Daily Life” by Dr. Shehla Ahmad.
On the fourth and last day of ALS events at the World Book Fair 2025, a panel discussion (Theme: Changing Perspective of Children and Youth Literature in the Age of Social Media ) with panelists Dr. Neetu Singh Rai, Om Prakash Kshatriya, Taruna Pundeer, Dr. K D Prasad, and Anita Chand was organized. Manoj Krishnan moderated this panel discussion. It was followed by the book launch of “Timtimaate Jugnu” by Anita Chand.
Asian Literary Society’s Group Poetry Meet was also organized on the same day at the World Book Fair 2025 in which poets Manoj Krishnan, Anita Chand, Dr. Bishakha Sarma, Shivpriya, and Vandana Bhasin recited their soulful poems.
The Asian Literary Society’s sessions at the World Book Fair 2025, New Delhi received an overwhelming response from visitors from all over India who attended this world’s largest gathering of book lovers.
