From the Founder, Asian Literary Society

Heartiest congratulations to ALSPHERE magazine’s writers, members of ALS, and editor Vandana Bhasin for their invaluable contributions over the past three years to ALSPHERE Monthly Online Magazine.

ALSPHERE Magazine under the aegis of ALSPHERE Foundation, and Asian Literary Society was started with the aim to promote art and literature, support special needs causes, and provide a platform to aspiring writers, poets, photographers, and artists. I am glad that your unwavering support and contributions over the past three years have encouraged us to make this magazine more engaging and reach a wider audience.

I look forward to continuing this camaraderie in the future as well.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

From the Editor’s Desk, ALSphere Magazine

Success is a process that involves taking small steps in the right direction with consistency and perseverance.

We started the ALSphere Magazine by releasing its First issue in March 2022. We had a vision, some direction and a lot of trust in our ALS Community members. We knew that we wanted to consolidate the contributions of our various groups in one place and provide a platform for our members where they could showcase their creativity with pride.

When you put in efforts with the right intention at heart, not only do people support you, but the results are sweeter and worthwhile, as they belong to the entire community.

I am very excited to share that we have completed three years of the ALSphere Magazine with our 36th issue of February 2025. In these three years, we have published more than 800 creative pieces in our 600 (approx.) posts that are published on the official website of the Asian Literary Society, www.alsphere.org

Spanning across ten categories, including poetry, micro-stories and micro-poetry, musings, flash fiction, artworks, photography, interviews/stories of People of Determination, and travelogues, the magazine has been providing a wide array of genres for the creative souls of our community.

I would like to thank and congratulate everyone who has contributed to the magazine and made it enriching and engaging. This success would not have been possible without the support of community members. Thank you for your trust in us.

We assure you that we will continue to present an impeccable assortment each month, and hope that you will continue showering your love for this literary and art masterpiece of ALS community.

I would like to quote the words of Mother Teresa, “None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful”.

Happy Reading!
