Best Day of My Life

I wake up to a new day, the best day of my life

Why, Yes I have made it to another day

I am going to celebrate my accomplishments, my blessings and my hardships too

They have made me stronger

I venture out with a happy heart

To marvel at the miraculous creations

The Sun, chirping birds, dew on the wet grass

None will escape my eye

I will share my excitement, make someone smile

Yes, I have to travel a mile in a crowd

But I will quit worrying about the space

And be grateful for all the wonderful things

The loving people around me

At the end of the day, I will stand in awe

At the beauty of the night, the moon and stars

I will sleep like a contented child

Tomorrow I will wake up
