I often ponder how commitments morph into burdens,
To carry forth or relinquish–
This enduring dilemma lingers unanswered,
As many traverse life burdened.
They overlook life’s revelries,
Missing the iridescent hues of rainbows,
Deaf to the melodies of chirping birds,
Unmoved by life’s rhapsodic symphonies.
Lost in the ceaseless bustle,
Ensnared in monotony’s grasp,
They yield to despair, quarrelling over trifles,
A futile vent for inner garboil.
Even in death, peace eludes them,
Restless amidst life’s tumult,
Finding no respite,
Neither on earth nor in the graveyard.
Yet amidst these shadows, lie unseen blessings of life,
Awaiting recognition,
For freedom blossoms in gratitude,
And tranquillity emerges from acceptance.
